I am a believer and strong advocate that we are blessed with talents to bless others. Even though we creatives may not be doctors or surgeons, there are always new ways to use art as an avenue to help someone else. Here are some ways that I have used art to bless others in need and I hope it inspires you to do the same too!
When the pandemic hit, Care Corner Orphanage Thailand was short on funding. We collaborated together with the children to create something that could be sold for fundraising.
We asked the children at Care Corner Orphanage to draw based on the prompt “What Are You Grateful For?” and turned their creations into pins! This series features Noona, Jai, Bella, and Nuwt - 4 individuals who found their home here at Care Corner Orphanage and found love in the Father. (Zoom in to read their stories)
Their stories remind us that gratitude doesn’t have to be about the big things. Gratitude shows up where you choose to show it. The grass is not greener on the other side, it’s greener where you water it.
In total, we have raised $2774 SGD for Care Corner Orphanage!
